Description

The addition of a holding tank allows the EDS to collect effluent while the sterilization tank is sealed and running. The EDS is perfectly equipped to handle momentary peaks in effluent flow; with effluent first filling the sterilization tank and then collecting in the holding tank. It is also capable of handling a constant flow with the time taken for the sterilization tank to process being faster than the time taken for the holding tank to fill.

The model shown incorporates a 72kW Astell steam generator to provide the heat required to destroy pathogens. As such, the EDS only requires electricity, water, alongside plumbing into the wastewater system operate.
